The Taraba House of Assembly today impeached the deputy governor of the state, Sani Danladi Abubakar for alleged gross misconduct.
The deputy governor was accused of diverting Millennium Development Projects to his private school, Yagai academy and his other business ventures like Yagai Water, Yagai Printing Press, and Yagai Restaurant.
Mr. Danladi in defense said that all the contracts were awarded to him by the state government after going through due process.
Meanwhile, a statement from the Taraba State Director of Protocol, Kabiru Marafa said a new deputy governor will be sworn in tomorrow by 3.30pm.(Source:Channels tv)
