All hell was let loose in lla-Oragun yesterday as students of the Osun State College of Education went on rampage burning houses, including the palace of Oragun of lla-Oragun, Oba Wahab Oyedotun Bibiire and part of the secretariat, over the death of two of their colleagues, Sodiq and Wale who died in a ghastly road accident on their way to the campus.
Tyres and other inflammable materials were burnt at popular junctions in the town including Igbonibi Junction, Sharp Corner, College Road and other important areas where students of the college reside.
The aggrieved students blamed the death of the two students of the Accounting Department, on the deplorable state of the road leading to the campus which the government jettisoned for long.
However, authorities of the institution have closed down the college to prevent further breakdown of law and order.
